Good restaurants in Salins-les-Bains and not too far away ...

Holidays and weekends in the countryside are no good without good food. We sometimes choose a travel destination for its gastronomy alone, that's for sure! When it comes to good food, the Jura knows what it's all about. Not overly boastful about its specialities, this little corner of paradise is home to its fair share of gourmets, and therefore good places to eat. At La Scierie, we offer ultra-soft rooms and a breakfast to die for (from the bed?), but we don't cook for lunch! In the evening, you can dine in, and it's up to you to choose what suits you best: planks, jars, dinner (find all the details in our dedicated article). If you feel like going out, take a trip to Salins, Arbois or Port-Lesnay, which are just a stone's throw away, and you won't regret it!

Good restaurants in Salins

Le Thermal
A friendly brasserie, with grilled pizzas and specialities from the Franche-Comté region. Always lively, and if you're lucky, there might be a concert on the night you drop in.

Ciboulette & Compagnie
A nugget for lunch, but be careful, it's well hidden (46 rue de la Liberté). The food here is good, healthy and local. Vegan and non-vegan dishes - Lunchtime only!

Le Senso
Discover the casino's restaurant! On the plate, cuisine that tends towards the gastronomic, and for the eyes, dinner shows.

Le Petit Blanc
A beautiful vaulted room, Jura specialities, friendly staff, 2 minutes from the Scierie, it's good and it's easy!

A few miles from Salins

Maison Jeunet
A Michelin-starred restaurant in Arbois. A little treat that we'd like to repeat every evening...

La brasserie des Docks
In Arbois too, we recommend it! A beautiful contemporary dining room, just as good as the food: a real treat.

Les Caudalies
Good gastro cuisine, but that's not all that makes it so good: here, we've got wine lovers in mind! Philippe Troussard, Meilleur Ouvrier de France Sommelier, will tell you all about the power of the Jura terroir.

Le Grapiot
In Pupillin, Samuel and Julie have surprised us more than once with their tasty, flavoursome and innovative cuisine. We also love their little wine-growing village!

Our favourites?

Le Bistronome
On the banks of the Cuisance in the centre of Arbois, Lisa and Jérôme have taken over this friendly restaurant after several years with Maison Jeunet. With a very attractive menu and attentive staff, you're sure to be won over!

Le Bistro de Port-Lesnay
A table not to be missed: a retro spirit, top service and on the plate... it's sure to be a treat! From starter to dessert, everything is home-made, seasonal and cooked to perfection. Pleasure guaranteed...
